Dr Angelo Sivathasan

Dr Angelo Sivathasan is a specialised paediatric psychiatrist dedicated to providing the highest standard of compassionate, evidence based care for children, adolescents and their families. He supports young people across a wide age range from early childhood through late adolescence and has extensive experience in managing complex presentations such as emotional dysregulation, mood and anxiety disorders, behavioural challenges and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), including comprehensive assessment and ongoing management.

Dr Angelo also works with difficulties related to autism spectrum conditions, school refusal, sleep disturbances, obsessive compulsive symptoms and the psychological impacts of stress and family change. His approach is collaborative, child centred and tailored to each young person’s developmental needs.

In addition, Dr Angelo is a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) provider, offering a specialised therapeutic approach to support children and adolescents in addressing and processing trauma in a safe and structured manner.

He practices at TinyGiants as part of a multidisciplinary team that takes a holistic view of each child’s wellbeing, ensuring that both physical and emotional needs are understood and supported.
