Profile

Eileen completed her medical training in England and did GP training around the northeast of England.

After having her two children, Eileen and her husband decided they wanted to live in a different country. When she and her husband decided to settle in New Zealand they were looking for somewhere beautiful with a good climate and friendly people—and they found it!

When it comes to being a GP Eileen enjoys the challenge of general practice, but she also has a particular interest in women's health and mental health. One of the highlights of being a GP for Eileen is that she gets to see every era with her patients, sometimes looking after 4 or even 5 generations together. She also enjoyed being on The Good Morning show for 5 years as a GP, answering host's questions on live TV about medical topics.

In her spare time Eileen likes to take the boat out, go fishing in the Hauraki Gulf and make little hand crafts such as knitting.
