Fifth Avenue Family Practice is one of the longest established practices in Tauranga, having served the community for over 75 years. We are situated close to the CBD of Tauranga. Our second site, 5th Ave on 10th, is situated at Suite 2, Promed House. Both sites have free, easy parking and Wi-Fi.
Our Medical Staff consists of seven associate General Practitioners, and eleven doctors with an interest in special areas as well as general practice. We offer a wide range of services and are able to offer both routine appointments and also emergency or acute care. We are proud to be a teaching practice committed to training excellence for future general practitioners and nurse practitioners.
Our specialty areas include Women's Health Clinics, Travel Clinics, Weight Loss Clinics, Skin Checks, Ear Health Clinics (wax removal) and Cosmetic Clinics.
A dispensing pharmacy is available on site at Fifth Avenue. Physiotherapy and X-ray facilities are also conveniently located adjacent to 5th Ave on 10th at Promed House.

After Hours: We partner with Practice Plus to provide same day virtual GP appointments for enrolled patients, as an extension of our regular medical centre team. Practice Plus is available weekdays until 10pm and weekends/public holidays 8am-8pm.
