Green Prescription
For a lot of us it can be a real challenge to start and maintain regular physical activity. However, the benefits of activity such as feeling good, having more energy, increased fitness, and preventing or controlling medical conditions make it worthwhile. With a bit of help to find an activity you enjoy and ways of fitting it into your schedule you can soon develop a routine and reap the rewards of being active!
A Green Prescription is written advice from your doctor or practice nurse recommending that you be more physically active to improve your health. With your permission, the prescription is faxed to your Regional Green Prescription Patient Support Team:
