Qualifications
Profile
Anthony graduated from Otago University in 1981, and from the Auckland Radiology training programme in 1987. He taught radiology in Charleston, South Carolina in the USA, before moving to the University of Utah in Salt Lake City until late 1994.
In 2000, Anthony was Scientific Convenor for the RANZCR meeting in Auckland, and has organised two MRI symposia and two Breast Diseases conferences. He also examines for RANZCR, and ran the Auckland Radiology training programme for 12 years. He is Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Auckland and a consultant at Auckland DHB.
Interests
Anthony’s principal areas of interest are breast imaging and biopsy, MRI and musculoskeletal radiology, especially bone and soft tissue tumours. He has published numerous papers in these fields and lectures widely in them.
