Dr Matthew Daly

Matt Daly is a consultant cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist at Christchurch Hospital and with the Christchurch Heart Group. He completed general cardiology training in Christchurch and subspecialty training at l'hôpital cardiologique du Haut-Lévêque de Bordeaux-Pessac in France with Professor Michel Haïssaguerre, a pioneer in catheter treatment of heart rhythm disorders, particularly atrial fibrillation.

In addition to general cardiology, Matt is a heart rhythm specialist whose interests include the investigation and treatment of abnormal heart rhythms, unexplained syncope, palpitations, cardiac pacing and cardiac devices. He has a particular interest in catheter ablation of abnormal heart rhythms.
