After completing my postgraduate training in Chennai, India, I travelled to the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom for further training in microneurosurgery, and spinal neurosurgery using microscopic techniques. I obtained my Fellowship in Neurosurgery from Edinburgh, UK.

I also work in the public health system, providing a cerebrovascular, neuro-oncology and trauma service, in addition to pursuing my area of special interest and training registrars.

• Trigeminal neuralgia - percutaneous procedures and microvascular decompression
• Spinal surgery using microscopic techniques for degenerative and neoplastic disorders, including cervical disc replacements, cervical discectomy and fusion with instrumentation, lumbar microdiscectomy and decompressive laminectomy and stabilisation
• Percutaneous kyphoplasty for painful osteopaedic spinal fracture or neoplastic deposits
• Procedures for peripheral entrapment neuropathy
