Born in Cairo, Olfat trained in Egypt, obtaining a Masters degree of General Dermatology before emigrating to New Zealand in 2000. Before obtaining her Fellowship of the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2009, Olfat obtained six years extensive experience working under different specialities in general hospitals.
Skin, paediatrics (children) and women’s health are among her particular general practice interests.
Olfat is married and has an adult son and daughter. She enjoys jewellery craft and spending time with her family.
