Winton Pharmacy was first established in 1907 by Thomas Walker, and has recently been bought from Geoff and Michelle Carleton by Madeleine Miles.
Michelle and Geoff originally owned Carletons Pharmacy in Otautau and in 1999 purchased Winton Pharmacy. They ran both businesses until 2003, when unable to find a Pharmacist to work in Otautau, they converted it to a Depot Pharmacy and dispensed those prescriptions from Winton. Having brought up children and lived most of their adult lives in Otautau, we have a commitment to give as great a service as we can to the people of Western and Central Southland.
Their daughter has now bought Winton Pharmacy and Otautau Depot.
