Profile

A consultant clinical and laboratory haematologist, Henry is clinical lead of the Haematology Research Unit at North Shore Hospital and an honorary senior lecturer at the University of Auckland.

After graduating from the University of Auckland and completing his advanced training in clinical and laboratory haematology, Henry undertook a clinical fellowship at the internationally-renowned Princess Margaret Cancer Centre in Toronto, Canada. Since his return to New Zealand, he has been the principal investigator of multiple international and investigator-led clinical studies.

With a strong interest in multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, Henry has also co-authored over 20 publications in these areas.

Henry is currently co-chair of the New Zealand Myeloma Interest Group, a member of both the Australasian Myeloma Scientific Advisory Group and the Ministry of Health Tumour Streams, a trustee of Myeloma New Zealand and the recipient of the Rotary Grant for the Myeloma Genomic Fellowship at the University of Auckland.
