Dr Susie Lawless

MB ChB 1987 Auckland; FRNZCGP 2000

Dr Susie Lawless graduated from the University of Auckland in 1986. She completed her medical training in Nelson and Christchurch, before spending several years working in the UK and Australia. She completed her vocational registration in 2000 and joined Amity Health Centre in 2001. Susie also teaches at the University of Otago School of Medicine. She has an interest in eating disorders, migraine and child and adolescent health, and she coordinates a programme to facilitate access to health care for prisoners on their release back into the community.

Susie is taking well-earned time-off currently partly to travel and partly to coordinate our transition into a Health Care Home. She will be back in her face to face role as a GP at the beginning of December 2018
