Dr Jill McIlraith

Dr Jill McIlraith has been in general practice for 20 years, having studied medicine after a career in journalism in South Africa.  She was a founding partner of Aurora Health Centre and she is a director in the new Aurora Health Centre. Jill continues to enjoy the variety of general practice and working alongside a group of dedicated colleagues.  She also works at Dunedin Sexual Health Clinic and likes the vibrancy and challenges of working with adolescents. Outside of medicine, she enjoys her animals – including horses, goats, sheep and dogs – gardening, reading, writing, travelling and spending time with her husband and daughter.
