Dr Prashanth Hari Dass

Prashanth is a Medical Oncologist based in Rotorua Hospital with a passion to serve the community.

His goal is to provide specialized oncology care to the patients in Rotorua and its wider geography in a timely manner. He hopes to reduce disparities in cancer care. He will provide cancer treatment advice, and discuss up to date cancer treatment including unfunded treatment options that have been showed to benefit patients.

He collaborates regularly with his fellow oncology colleagues in Waikato Hospital and Auckland and does yearly voluntary work in Fiji.

His long term goals are to develop a cancer clinical trial unit in Rotorua in future with the hope to reduce barriers and improve access to investigational cancer treatment for patients locally.
