Profile

After I graduated from the University of Auckland in 2012, I completed my internship across all three district health boards in the Auckland region. I completed four years of hospital medical experience by working in various medical and surgical areas, including children’s emergency medicine at Starship.
Since joining General Practice training in 2016, I have really been enjoying working alongside patients and helping them address a wide variety of health challenges. As I continue my GP career, I hope to develop my interests in the areas of men’s health, paediatrics, and urgent care.
I was born in South Korea, and my family moved to New Zealand when I was 10. I grew up in Hamilton, and I’m fluent in English and Korean. When I’m not working or studying, I love to spend time travelling with my wife, watching sports, and skateboarding.
