Profile
Shona has been a GP for over 20 years and has trained in Australia and New Zealand. She has been working in General Practice in Dunedin since 1998. Shona thrives on the variety provided by general practice and enjoys the privilege of getting to know individuals and families as she helps them on their health journeys. As well as her postgraduate General Practice qualifications Shona has completed a post graduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She also enjoys working as a medical educator in the General Practice training programme.
When not at work, Shona enjoys time with her family, getting out in Dunedin’s wonderful outdoors and getting stuck into the seemingly endless gardening and DIY tasks provided by her home.
