I have been a midwife since 1999 and worked in midwifery education for 6 years. I really enjoy sharing the journey through pregnancy, birth and into parenthood with women & their families. I support women & their partners to choose their place of birth, at home, in a primary birthing centre or in hospital. I promote natural treatment options whenever possible. Midwives happily refer to Obstetricians and other allied health specialists whenever it is indicated. My passion is supporting breast feeding through the first few weeks, working through any difficulties to achieve a happy and healthy baby, and the best experience possible for a new Mum and her partner. I work part time in a Tongue-Tie Clinic, and maintain a small LMC practice. I can meet women in my clinics at Ōrewa House or Browns Bay Medical Centre.
