Dr Sandeep Naik

Sandeep is a proud New Zealand Indian, born and bred in Wellington. He prides himself on being genuine, caring, friendly and approachable with patients.

Sandeep has an undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Genetics before obtaining his medical degree also with the University of Otago. He is a clinical lecturer with the University of Otago, Wellington Medical school with a passion for teaching.

As part of completing his sub-specialisation to obtain CREI (Certificate in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility – the highest training level for Fertility in Australasia), Sandeep has completed a fellowship at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, Australia and has gained international experience in the fertility field.

Sandeep is currently working at Hutt Hospital as a consultant specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He runs his private practice from the Wellington Fertility Associates clinic and Boulcott Specialist centre, where he sees gynaecology and fertility patients.
