Sotiata graduated from the University of Auckland with an MBChB in 2004. He completed his orthopaedic fellowship in 2015.

He returned to the Wellington to work full time as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Hutt Hospital in February 2018 after spending 2 years in Queensland Australia completing a Fellowship sub-specialising in Foot and Ankle surgery.

Sotiata is happy to see any orthopaedic problem and has a special interest in hip and knee arthroplasty, keyhole knee surgery and foot and ankle surgery.
