Te Pou Oranga o Whakatōhea Social & Health Services is a Kaupapa Māori based service that supports our whānau to be healthy and thrive.

Staff

Our staff have a wealth of experience and knowledge to support you and your whānau with your journey to Orangatonutanga. We provide free and confidential services to the Ōpōtiki community and surrounding areas.

Kauapapa Maori Community Mental Health Services

Our Kaupapa Māori mental health services include peer support, assessment, referral, counselling, education, whānau support and advocacy to support clients through their healing. We also operate a number of groups ranging from peer support groups through to healing groups. Our qualified staff are here to help people of all ages dealing with a mental illness or addiction. Whether they are in a private room or at the beach fishing they learn about their client and help them to deal with any concerns they have.
