Description

Independent Living Charitable Trust is committed to making the lives of people with mobility issues and disabilities as independent as they can be, as well as supporting their families, whānau and support networks.

With a community advice team, hire and repair services and a huge range of mobility and daily living products, we’re your friendly impartial experts on all things related to ageing, disability and maintaining independence.

From generic disability information through to walking stick testing, we help people navigate the health and disability sector and access funding options - and most of our services are free. We offer brochures and information in a wide variety of languages, and we sell a huge range of tried-and-tested daily living aids, mobility scooters, wheelchairs and furniture.

Most importantly, we care about what people can do. We focus on abilities, we find solutions, and we work to understand the unique situation of each client.  Many of us have experienced disability ourselves, so what we do has deep personal meaning to us.

We’re all about helping your clients find their own path through life – providing them with the impartial support and the best products for their unique needs.

We have three stores (Royal Oak, Botany South & Browns Bay - see details on left) and mobile services for advice, presentations, scooter demonstrations and repairs that operates in the Wider Auckland region.

Empowering you to live your best life, with ease.
