Family Works Northern builds safe, strong and connected families. Our social services help children, young people and families feel supported and included in their communities.
We believe that every family can be a great family. When families are free from violence, have healthy relationships, and have access to the right resources, they can flourish. Our approach is to work alongside families, supporting them to build on their strengths to create lasting change.
We offer a wide range of social services, including:
- counselling for children, families and individuals
- parenting programmes
- family violence advocacy, support and programmes
- social work support for your family
- social workers in schools.
- financial mentoring and budgeting guidance
We have service centres across the Upper North Island from Whangārei to Taupō.
