Laura has a Bachelor’s degree in Oral Health which gives her a dual qualification to work as both a hygienist and a dental therapist.
In 2009 Laura took part in Asian Outreach Cambodia, a volunteer-based organisation which provides medical services, community development, education and church development to the underprivileged. This took Laura to remote areas of Cambodia to treat both children and adults with dental problems “Seeing the appalling level of oral health in these isolated communities makes you appreciate the benefits of good oral hygiene and the dental facilities available to us here”.
