General bio: I am a primary care LMC working from Botany Maternity Unit. I offer an empathetic and practical approach to labour and parentcraft and look after women keen on having a natural birth and keen to deliver at Botany Maternity. I have been a midwife for over 20 years and have three teenage children. I am originally from South Africa and have been working as a midwife in New Zealand since 2004. I work with three other midwives; we are known as "Midwives@Botany" and we offer you excellent care and support during your pregnancy, labour and postnatal period. We provide all primary care for natural births and will support you if you eventually need an epidural during your labour but this care will be continued by the hospital midwives.
