Welcome to Gentle Birth. We are in service to "help people out!" We aim to offer midwifery care which is friendly and professional. We believe birth is an amazing and beautiful life event that should be celebrated. We believe in gentle birth with as little intervention as possible, allowing your body time and space to birth your baby naturally, gently and beautifully. We promote home birth and water birth. We treat you and your baby with respect, kindness, compassion and gentleness.
Services:
Our service is PROFESSIONAL and FREE - paid for by the Ministry of Health (depending on residency status). Our rooms are in Henderson right beside Waitakere Hospital. Each midwife provides a Lead Maternity Care (LMC) service. If your LMC is not available another midwife will be there for you. We remain available to you 24 hours a day. We offer hospital births, home births and water births. You will be guided through your pregnancy and birth process with a high standard of midwifery care with referrals to the appropriate specialist service as required.
