I am a woman, a mother and a midwife. Firstly, congratulations on your pregnancy. What an exciting journey you are about to embark upon. For me the journey and experience of becoming a mother should be one that is positive exciting and filled with joy. It is a time of learning new things and growing and sharing experiences. I have one son who is now a teenager (OMG) and though we have tried for another we have been unsuccessful even through IFV. Thus I treasure the time I get to spend with you, your family and your new baby. This journey is yours to take and I will inform you and provide you with up to date information that allows you to make informed decisions about your care.
