I see my role is to provide individualised care in partnership with you and your family to ensure your pregnancy, birth and postnatal care is of the highest standard. I have been a midwife for fourteen years. I have a strong belief in the normal physiological processes of pregnancy and birth and will protect this with you, if you need an elective caesarean I will support you through this too

I find great joy and satisfaction in assisting families on the journey to welcome their new baby into the world. My midwifery philosophy values education, discussion, kindness, partnership, respect and support for your choices with a strong focus on empowering women to birth in the way that is best for them. To keep my caseload small I limit bookings to return clients and/or women planning to birth at home.

I do this through shared decision-making, encouragement and mutual trust. As a midwife, I aim to develop meaningful and professional relationships with the women that I care for. During this wonderful journey, it is my role to provide you with thorough and up-to-date information to empower you to make informed decisions regarding your health and the health of your baby. I will provide care for you during your pregnancy, labour and birth, also visiting you at home for 4-6 weeks after your baby is born.
