Congratulations on your pregnancy. I am happy to care for you during your pregnancy, labour and birth and for the six weeks postpartum.

I will work in partnership with you and endeavour that this period of your life will reflectively be one of the happiest times ever.

I do home births, Birthcare in Parnell, postnatals in Helensville Birthing Unit and births at Waitakere. I do not go to Auckland Hospital or North Shore Hospital.

I speak some French.

I have 3 children myself aged 30, 25 and 23. I am Grandma Kiwi to little Rory and Nuala-Belle but sadly they live 12,000 miles away in the UK, where I lived until I was 40!!!

My passions - apart from midwifery - are my animals: 2 dogs (labradoodle and a rough collie) and 5 cats, reading and writing, a little art work and history, especially genealogy.

I look forward to meeting you and commencing this fabulous and completely awesome journey together :)

Hello to you.

Please email me on or text me on 021 212 5565

I am fully booked for 2021 and will be having a hideous back operation on December 10 2021 and will not be returning to work until March 1st.

I specialise in home birthing and primary birthing.  Attending antenatal appointments in the comfort and privacy of your own home - each appointment can be up to 1hr in length so that we can go through heaps and you can ask me anything.  I do attend births in the hospital, but very reluctantly due to the high unnecessary intervention rates, bullying to both client and LMC and often, lack of facilities and staff appertaining to the safety that people often mistake hospital to provide.

Take care and I will hear from you if you need me 🌺
