Hello, my name is Victoria Lin. I am currently working at Waitakere Hospital and also providing LMC care. I look after mothers in Henderson and the surrounding West and Central Auckland suburbs.
I am delighted to have the opportunity to look after mothers and their babies. Prior to my midwifery studies I obtained a Bachelor's degree in veterinary medicine. This training is a huge asset for my career as a midwife giving me a solid foundation in medical sciences, one that is very important for midwifery practices.
I have a pleasant and friendly nature and am able to provide care that is woman-centered, flexible, dynamic, supportive and empowering, and I strive to facilitate an experience that is healthy, safe and satisfying. I speak both English and Mandarin fluently and am well-suited for working with ethnically diverse clients. I believe that my experience, ambition, competency, and integrity will enable me to make significant to your unique birth experience!
