Mapu Maia provides a holistic service to individuals, families and communities that is culturally appropriate and effective. We offer free, professional and confidential counselling services and education. More

Staff

Mapu Maia consists of qualified, experienced and compassionate counsellors and health professionals delivering services to Pasifika communities across our clinical and community engaging teams. Staff are proud advocates for Pasifika wellbeing, committed to empowering individuals, promoting healthy lifestyles and choices, and navigating obstacles to meet Pasifika community needs.

Fees and Charges Description

Our counselling services are free, professional and confidential. We are funded by the Ministry of Health through the gambling levy, to work with all people who are affected by gambling.

This includes friends, family, work colleagues, employers, and anyone affected by someone else's gambling.

Our public health service offers free presentations and workshops for community and professional groups.

Donations are welcome. We are a registered charity.

You can also speak to one of our welcoming staff members at community events. We also receive referrals via General Practices, Corections and other Clinical and Social Services.
