Our service is for anyone in Wellington, Porirua, Kāpiti and the Hutt Valley who is experiencing a mental health crisis.

Crisis Resolution Service (CRS)

If you or someone you know is experiencing a mental health crisis and you’re worried about your safety or their safety, we provide assessment and short-term treatment services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Once we’ve spoken with you or with someone who’s supporting you, we will assess you to decide what the best options are. This assessment may be carried out at a clinic, in your home or at another agreed venue. We will discuss assessment and treatment options with you. This team was previously known as the crisis assessment and treatment team (CATT team).

You can phone Te Haika - 0800 745 477, our 24/7 mental health and addiction contact centre.

Or you can ask your whānau, friend or other support person to contact us.

Alternatively, your GP or another community health provider can refer you.
