Description

Crossroads Clubhouse is a work-focused, peer-supported and socially inclusive community which supports adults who have suffered from a mental illness. Those who attend the Clubhouse are members and volunteer in any number of tasks which are essential in the running of our organisation. This includes administration tasks, gardening, maintenance, facilitating meetings and providing meals and sustenance to other members. Hence the focus of Crossroads Clubhouse is recovery through work. We believe this is an extremely valuable tool in enabling those who have suffered from a mental health condition to gain confidence, meaningful relationships, social inclusion, practical skills and, most importantly, paid employment in the community.
