ADIO follows a Harm Reduction Philosophy. This means that we seek to reduce the harms associated with injecting drug use and related behaviours, while neither condemning or condoning drug use.

Our Hep C Clinic is free and welcomes walk-ins, no appointment necessary:

Description
ADIO can provide a courier serivce to clients unable to access clean equipment. Advice and advocacy on IDU related issues. Information and referrals to AOTS (CADS) and other A & D Services. An after hours electronic dispenser.
ADIO CENTRAL also provides a FREE Hep C Clinic, staffed by a clinical Nurse specialist from the Auckland Liver Unit. No appointment needed Monday 1.30pm - 5pm or Thursday 10.00am - 4.00pm.
Our clinic provides:
- Liver Scans
- Hep C Tests
- Diagnosis and advice
- Free treatment for Hep C
- New cure MAVIRET for all Hep C types

Fees
If you bring in used syringes and needles for disposal, we give you 3ml syringes and any gauge needles on a one-for-one basis, free of charge. This is our 1 - 4 - 1 service.
Our retail prices of all injecting equipment are based on our not-for-profit status and being a public health service.
