Description
At Balance in Whanganui we provide Peer Support, Education and Advocacy to people seeking wellbeing and recovery with mental health or addiction issues.
Balance Aotearoa is the National Disabled Persons Organisation (DPO) under the UN Convention on the Rights of Disabled People and advocates for the rights of people with psychosocial disability/mental health issues in the DPO Coalition.
We believe people living with mental health challenges are not their diagnoses and are people with strengths, experiences and abilities enabling them to pursue and maintain wellbeing.
