Description
The Maternal Mental Health Team sits within Bay of Plenty DHB Maternal, Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (MICAMHS). MICAMHS also includes the Infant, Child & Adoloscent Mental Health Team, SORTED - Youth Alcohol & Other Drugs Service and the Incredible Years Specialist Team.

Referral Process
For GP and Clinical referrals, please use the referral form attached.
Entry criteria:
- Women who develop moderate to severe mental health problems during pregnancy and up to 12 months following birth.
- Women who have a previous history of severe mental illness and are planning to become pregnant.
- Current clients of CMH requiring specialist consultation who become pregnant

Description
This service provides mental health services tailored for pregnant women and up to 1 year post-partum, with moderate to severe mental health concerns.
Maternal Mental Health services provide community-focused care, underpinned by recovery and harm reduction models.

Mon – Fri | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM |
