Description
The Friday Group brings together a mix of cultures & philosophies with the vision that by bringing an array of services and philosophies together at a neutral venue a different culture will develop.
The Friday Group show-cases how two styles (clinical & peer support) can complement each other. The Friday Group runs for 2 hours consisting of ½ hour meet & greet, followed by a 1 hour education/discussion group to develop coping strategies and plan for safe/no alcohol and drug use including topics on relapse prevention mood management, drink driving etc. The last ½ hour is informal time for food & refreshments and further opportunity to discuss safe behaviours for the weekend.

The Recovery 24/7 Support Group is for those wanting change from their current drug & alcohol use. Our discussion groups use topics which focus on the learned behaviors, attitudes and beliefs associated with drug & alcohol use. As well as peer support we have clinical guest speakers to present on topics such as ‘The Dopamine Reward Pathways’.
Using Methamphetamine?
There is growing evidence that approaches like Recovery 24/7 can be successful and can effectively help methamphetamine users make the changes they want. The content covered in Recovery 24/7 can give you practical and straightforward ways to identify and manage the beliefs, emotions and cravings that are associated with your drug use.
