Description
Community Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS) is an Auckland-based organisation providing free treatment for those with alcohol and/or other drug (AOD) problems as well as family and friends concerned about another’s AOD use.

CADS provides the regional service from Wellsford in the North, to Bombay in the South, and Helensville in the West.

Altered High - Youth Service
Altered High is open and available to support you though, like the rest of CADS, we are doing things a bit differently.
We are here to support young people as well as significant others who may be affected by their own or someone else’s alcohol and/or drug use. We are available for appointments over the telephone or video conferencing. Read more here
We can answer questions, give support and take referrals between 8.30am – 4.30pm.

Referral Expectations
You can contact CADS, either about yourself or someone else you are concerned about, by:
- phoning 0800 845 1818 - you will be transferred to the appropriate service

Or you can drop into one of our clinics (see counselling service) between 10am and 1pm Monday to Friday, no appointment necessary.
Your doctor or healthcare professional is also able to refer you to our service.
