For all CADS services ph: (09) 845 1818
Community Alcohol and Drug Services (CADS) is an Auckland-based organisation providing free treatment for those with alcohol and or other drug problems. Counselling and advice is also provided for family and friends concerned about another’s drug use.
COVID-19 CADS is open and operating!
We are committed to supporting you during this time. To keep you and our staff safe we are minimising face-to-face contacts. Anyone turning up at a CADS site is asked to call (09 845 1818) or text us (number displayed on the door) as our buildings are in lockdown.
During usual business hours (8.30am – 4.30pm) we have staff available at all our units who can be contacted by phoning 09 845 1818. This means your call will be answered or returned however we ask for patience as we have only a few staff onsite at any one time. Referrals can be made through our website www.cads.org.nz
Altered High - Youth Service
Altered High is open and available to support you though, like the rest of CADS, we are doing things a bit differently.
We are here to support young people as well as significant others who may be affected by their own or someone else’s alcohol and/or drug use. We are available for appointments over the telephone or video conferencing.
We can answer questions, give support and take referrals between 8.30am – 4.30pm.
Young people, family/whanau and professionals/referrers can call us on 09 845 1893 or text our duty number 027 462 4580 or email
