Description

CORT Community Housing (Community of Refuge Trust) is a registered social and affordable housing organisation providing homes for people on very low incomes in Auckland. CORT has been offering community housing for more than 30 years.

We are a non-government, not-for-profit community organisation and a registered charitable trust. Any operating surplus created by the trust is used to grow and improve the work we do.

The trust was established in 1987 by Ponsonby Baptist Church. Over the years the trust has slowly built up its housing stock through purchasing properties and leasing from private landlords. The trust is supported through rental income, grants, philanthropic trusts and the Auckland District Health Board. CORT operates in Auckland. The Trust manages over 370 properties, mainly 1 and 2 bedroom flats.

We have an application/referral form for you to fill in which will provide us with information on what you are looking for and what properties will best suit you.
