EDCS supports and represents parents/whānau and carers of people who have eating disorders.

We support -  Anorexia Nervosa (AN), Bulimia Nervosa (BN), Binge Eating Disorder (BED), Disordered Eating, Clean Eating, Orthorexia, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake (ARFID), Body Dysmorphia (BDD), Muscle Dysmorphia, Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S), Other Specified Feeding or Eating Disorder (OSFED),  Rumination Disorder, Pica Disorder,  Paediatric Acute-Onset Neuropyschiatric Syndrome (PANDAS).

Support Network – Information and Resources

We aim to provide: Lived Experience Peer support to parents/whānau/carers of loved ones with an eating disorder. Information, resources and educational materials to parents/whānau/carers of someone with an eating disorder. Raise awareness and understanding of eating disorders in the community. Awareness and education at all levels for ongoing system improvements on behalf of New Zealand families.
