Description

Enhancing the well-being of family and whānau who are supporting someone with mental illness and/or addiction.

Our service covers the Aoraki region, including Timaru, Waimate, Twizel, Fairlie, Geraldine, Pleasant Point and Temuka.

Charges

Although our family support service is free, we welcome the support of new financial members.

Annual subscriptions are payable in July each year and the fees are:

$10 unwaged
$20 waged

The family support staff are registered nurses who offer a range of support options which might include information and education about mental illness and addiction, problem-solving, crisis planning and liaison/advocacy with other services. Support is available by: telephone contact visits to your home appointments at our office liaison with mental health and other services
