Referral Process
We receive referrals from all sources, including self-referrals.
FAMHS works closely with Te Whatu Ora Health NZ South Canterbury Mental Health & Addiction Services.
Description
The family support staff are registered nurses who offer a range of support options which might include information and education about mental illness and addiction, problem-solving, crisis planning and liaison/advocacy with other services.
Support is available by:
- telephone contact
- visits to your home
- appointments at our office
- liaison with mental health and other services
