Description

Get Smart Tauranga is a specialised alcohol and drug service for young people. We offer one-on-one sessions and outdoor group activities.

We work alongside young people and their family up to the age of 25yrs. Our service is free and we offer a safe, non judgemental place to talk. We will support people at whatever stage of change they're at, even if they're not ready to make changes to their alcohol drug use.

We also offer support to parents and caregivers irrespective of whether their child is engaged in treatment/counselling.

Stoked Mauri Ora Activity Modules

Our aim is to empower youth/rangatahi to reach their full potential through a range of activities including the adrenalin forest, the amazing race, cheffing, whakapapa etc.. STOKED MAURI ORA is based on the Te Whare Tapa Wha health model. Through group activities, young people can gain a better understanding of themselves, build confidence and learn new life skills all while having fun!
