Older Persons Mental Health - Health New Zealand / Te Whatu Ora provides specialist mental health community support to older people (over 65 years) through the Hawke's Bay region.

Staff

The team includes psychogeriatricians, clinical nurse manager, registered nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and support worker.

This service provides assessment and treatment to individuals age 65 and over with a new or emerging mental illness and individuals of any age with dementia.
