Description

Home and Family Counselling provides professional counselling for a voluntary contribution.  We are New Zealand's second oldest charity and have been helping people in need for 127 years. We rely on donations so we can remain accessible and affordable to all. 

We are an incorporated society with charitable status from the Inland Revenue Department and have a fantastic team of professional counsellors and administrators.

Appointment Times:
Monday to Saturday: Daytime hours with evening appointments available.

 

Christmas Hours
Our office will be closed from 21st December to January 13th for the Christmas break.

 

Public Holidays: Closed on all public holidays.

Fees

Home and Family Counselling runs on a voluntary contribution basis. We have an online guide on our website and this is discussed within your counselling session.

Public Transport

Our Mount Eden centre is serviced by buses 277 and 274. Mount Eden train station is a short bus ride, or 17 minute walk.

Our Northcote centre is serviced by buses 955, 958, 960, 971, 972, 973, and 974.

Parking

Mount Eden: There is public parking on streets around Mt Eden Road. There is a bus lane outside the Mt Eden centre that is in operation 4pm - 6pm Monday to Friday. Clients may also use the limited parking at the centre.

Northcote: There is public parking available on and around Seaview Avenue. 

Hibiscus Coast: Parking on site.
