Referral Process

People may self-refer or refer whānau members. Referrals also come from GPs, DHB clinicians & government agencies. Please phone 09 5314040 or 0800 678 323 for further information on how to access services. 


Social Housing provides support for people in the Auckland and Whangārei region who are experiencing difficulties with their housing.

  • Housing First (Whare Taupua) for people who are chronically homeless (Central & West Auckland & Whangārei); 
  • Youth Social Housing (Aka Matua & Māhuri);
  • Transitional Housing for those who are transitionally homeless;
  • Sustaining Tenancies (Whare Toko, Auckland & Whangārei);
  • Supported Accommodation for people receiving mental health services;
  • Creating Positive Pathways for people exiting long-term prison sentences (Auckland & Whangārei).
