We cannot accept self-referrals.  If you believe you would benefit from a planned respite stay, please discuss this with your care coordinator through the Palmerston North Community Mental Health Service. 

Description

We provide planned respite short term stays of up to seven days for people with an experience of mental illness to have a break from your usual living situation. Stay for a few days or up to a week and regular bookings can be scheduled throughout the year. 

Our respite home is a warm quiet flat in central Palmerston North. Our support staff are available 24/7 to support you, working in the units next door.  

There is no cost to stay at our respite home and food is provided, you are just responsible for keeping the home tidy.
