Referrals must come via A&E, Community Mental Health, Crisis Resolution Services or the Unplanned Care Team.
Description
This is an 18 bed unit that provides care for those service users in the acute stage, who are in need of a period of close observation or intensive support and or intervention where this is unable to be safely provided within a community setting. Within this unit there is a sensory modulation room. This room is used by Service Users who display levels of distress and anxiety which can be managed using sensory modulation.
We have a multi disciplinary team helping you and your family / whānau on your recovery. Professional clinical staff to support you on your journey to discharge. Your safety and wellbeing is the keystone to recovery, along with hope.
