The Triage Service provides a single point of entry for acute and non-urgent referrals to adult mental health services.
The service undertakes initial screening and assessment to provide appropriate advice and/or facilitate an assisted referral to the appropriate Northland DHB Mental Health Service or another service provider such as a community based Non-Government Organisations (NGO’s).

Public Holidays: Closed Labour Day (22 Oct), Northland Anniversary (28 Jan), Waitangi Day (6 Feb), Good Friday (19 Apr), Easter Sunday (21 Apr), Easter Monday (22 Apr), ANZAC Day (25 Apr), Queen's Birthday (3 Jun).
There are no fees for services to public patients if you are lawfully in New Zealand and meet one of the eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Health. If you do not meet the criteria, you will be required to pay for the full cost of any medical treatment you recieve during your stay.
