Referral Process

Applicants should approach MSD to apply for transitional housing.  If you have been in contact with one of our Housing Co-ordinators and are aware of a vacant room you can request that MSD make a referral to us.

Description

Who can be a resident?

Single men and women who:

• Do not have high level offending, mental health or addiction issues
• Are experiencing (or about to experience) homelessness
• Are committed to finding permanent housing
• Do not require supported accommodation
• Can co-exist with others
• Have no serious physical impairments as there is no lift access

The Hillary Court facility is a newly renovated complex in central Naenae.
Facilities include:

• Fifteen fully furnished single rooms
• Large open dining / living spaces on each floor
• Large flat screen TV in each living space
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Showers and toilets on each floor
• Laundry facilities on each floor

The Fergusson Drive property is a nine bedroom property in Clouston Park, Upper Hutt.
Facilities include:

• Three fully furnished double rooms upstairs and six fully furnished rooms on the ground floor
• Open dining/living spaces on each floor
• Large flat screen TV in each living space with Sky TV
• A fully equipped kitchen upstairs and a kitchenette downstairs
• Showers and toilets on each floor
• Laundry facilities on the ground floor
