Referral Process

Referral is open to self-referral and community referrals for parents with children with difficult behaviour.

Description

The Hamilton based Whānau Team provides services for families of children with difficult behaviours, including diagnosed and undiagnosed Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and related challenging and disruptive behaviours.

Te Whānau Pataka provides social work support for parent/caregivers who are experiencing difficulties managing their child's behaviour.

Service includes intake & assessment, whaanau goals with individualised family plan.

Whaanau gain skills that will lead to a stronger whaanau.
